Even though it rained last night, we walked from 53rd to 83rd: wrapped in a springish fog, carrying heavy bags, portfolio, my sore throat, and tons of thoughts. (The bad ones were immediately taken away by the warm fog).

I have a tendency of counting hours, cutting stuff with an x-acto knife, and leaving tea bags on my desk.

bus ride in my/her eyes

Every wrinkle on her face is a thought, a memory.. Eyes are always tired, but full of hope. She's looking out the window, still thinking what to do after she lost her job; getting a bit annoyed by me with my phone right by her face. I ask her not to move, and she listens. She always listens and thinks, my mom.

sunny but cold

Waiting for a bus; wind too cold and sun too bright. And people too unknown.

I thought I had a bottle of water in my room, but it turned out, I've got my room in a bottle of water.

Abandoned Umbrellas

For all these 5 years living in NY, I've been fascinated by the broken abandoned umbrellas lying around the city after a rainy day (or a stormy one, like yesterday :) ). It's amazing how much character they have, how dramatic they are, and how different they all look. Meant to protect people, they failed and therefore are left without a home. Smashed, ripped, turned inside out... So sad.
Today was a perfect day to spend outside, but I had a job, no camera, and no time for taking pictures. This is the only one I took with my phone. Posting this picture, hoping it'll finally push me forward, and I'll start working on this project.
